Summer Camp
Pioneer Meadows Montessori School Summer Camp will be held July 6th through August 13th. Daily sessions will be held from 8:45–11:45 a.m. and from 12:45–3:45 p.m., with the option of staying all day.
Children’s House Summer Camp is open to children ages 3–5 who have been enrolled in a Montessori program. Elementary Summer Camp is open to all children ages 6–10.
A theme will guide each week’s learning activities, including: Jump into Summer with Games; Let's Create!; Fun on the Farm; Hidden Treasures; Experiments Experience; and How Does Your Garden Grow? Each week will also feature outdoor playtime, nutritious snacks, gardening, and arts and crafts. Most weeks will include a field trip.
Half day or all day weekly sessions available. Fees start at $64 for week 1 half-day sessions (July 6–9). Space is limited to 12 to 14 children in each class.

| Week 1 | Jump into Summer—This week’s activities will include both indoor and outdoor games focused on cooperative learning. Puzzles and brainteasers will also be included. Students will have the chance to create their own puzzles and games. | |||||
| Week 2 | Let’s Create!—This week students will learn to make puppets, work with wood, draw, paint, and explore printmaking as well as work on sewing, weaving or knitting projects. Students will visit the WWU Outdoor Sculptures. | |||||
| Week 3 | Fun on the Farm—This weeks’ activities will include making butter, caring for animals, and learning about various animal habitats. Students will enjoy a field trip to a local farm. | |||||
| Week 4 | Hidden Treasures—This week will focus on treasure hunts, learning about geology and archeology, and map reading skills. Students will go on a field trip to Birch Bay State Park to uncover some of the secrets of the beach. | |||||
| Week 5 | Experiments Experience—This week’s activities will include making fun things in the kitchen such as gak, homemade play dough, coloring eggs, and other science-based activities. Students will visit a local science museum. | |||||
| Week 6 | How Does Your Garden Grow?—Activities will include learning about plants, tending to the garden, flower arranging, plant identification, and making a whirligig for the garden. Students will take a field trip to a local nursery. | |||||
